Adam Johnson's sister supports vile Facebook abuse against brother's victim

They said whatever happened family is family.

The former Sunderland and England midfielder has been defended by his sibling ahead of sentencing later this monthmonth for child sex offences Adam Johnson's sister has liked a comment on her personal Facebook page which described her brother's abuse victim as a "silly attention seeking wanna be wag!".

The footballer was found guilty of two counts of sexual activity with a child and one count of grooming at Bradford Crown Court last week, and is expected to receive a prison sentence for his crimes later this month.

Johnson's actions have prompted widespread anger and disgust from the general public, while Sunderland chief
executive Margaret Byrne has resigned after the club received criticism for paying and playing the winger before he pleaded guilty.

But the 28-year-old's sister Faye Johnson has continued to vehemently support her disgraced brother. On Tuesday she
updated her Facebook profile picture to an image of Adam with his young daughter.

Many of the comments on the photo from her friends were positive towards Johnson's behaviour and one lamented that
"her [Johnson's daughter] hearts gonna be broken, for aa silly attention seeking wanna be wag!." Ms Johnson 'liked' the comment.
