Another drama in the music industry!
Nigerian artiste Runtown and his record label Eric Manny owned by a multi-millionaire Okwudili umenyiora have been at loggerheads for a while now.
However, some sources claim the label was cheating the singer by not giving him his share of show performances, caller tunes and more.
A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has now slammed
an injunction against Runtown preventing him from
performing at any event or any form of recording for the
time being without the approval of Ericmany Limited.
The record label which presently holds the copyright to all
his music, sued him in the Federal High Court on
allegations that he signs up, concludes and attends
musical shows without the knowledge of the label which reportedly invested millions on him.
